What S3 is — and is not

Steele Sharpens Steele is a peer-led veteran organization built on accountability, brotherhood and sisterhood, and purpose. Our conversations help veterans maintain structure, connection, and forward momentum.

S3 is not a clinical, medical, or emergency service. Our messages and forms are not monitored for emergencies, and no one on this site can respond to a crisis. Peer support complements professional care — it never replaces it.

Peer support through S3

If you are not in crisis but need connection, S3 offers free, peer-led spaces where veterans sharpen each other: daily Open Forum conversations and structured Sharpening Sessions with advance registration.

Questions or non-urgent support

For anything non-urgent, reach the S3 team directly. We respond during contact hours — daily, 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM ET.
